2012: New Year, New Projects

You are casually invited to attend the 1st Annual

hosted by the fabulous Jami at What the Graham?! joined by the bloggers behind Baby Gators Den, Design Build Love, Hernando House, Merrypad, Mrs. Priss & Yours Truly.

I certainly don't know if it's an annual party; but, it sounds swell so I'm gonna go ahead and run with it. Just don't be that asshole who shows up at Jami's blog next year expecting fancy cocktail wieners & free beer.

She might not like that.

Do you like parties? I like parties. Especially the virtual kind where I don't have to clean up your ridiculous boozy mess the morning after.

WHERE & WHEN & ALL THAT JAZZ:

(#1) THE EASY PART: find a project that inspires you on Pinterest.

(#2) THE NOT-SO-EASY PART: git 'er done & blog about it in the next 2 weeks.

(#3) THE REALLY FUN PART: on January 15th, link up your project post to one, any or all of the following blogs: What the Graham?!, Baby Gators Den, Design Build Love, Hernando House, Merrypad, Mrs. Priss OR The Stucco Bungalow (assuming I can figure out how to add one of those linky thing-ys).

It's a new year and you should let this little party be the kick in the pants you need to get started on (or in my case finish) a DIY project inspired by photos you've pinned on Pinterest. Then after the hard work is done sit back, relax, mix and mingle and share your creation with other DIY bloggers & DIY blog readers.

You bring the creativity and I'll bring the seven layer taco-avocado-bean dip. So, let's get this party started RIGHT**

** If you grew up in the 90's you should watch this, briefly re-live the glory days of tight-rolled jeans and double socks with fabric hair scrunchies and then walk around all day with the chorus on a non-stop loop in your brain and out yo mouth.

You can thank me later.

  1. Perfect timing! We're starting a Pinterest inspired project right now and will hopefully be done in about two weeks. Though it may be hard to get it completed if we're constantly doing the running man and cabbage patching to C&C Music Factory.

  2. This sounds fun. I've just finished a few pinterest inspired projects & am starting a few more. :)

Also, points for the 90's flashback.

  3. Wait? No fancy cocktail wieners? What in the world?

Sounds super fun. And God knows how many Pinterest projects I'd love to complete. Let's see if I can get my rear in gear. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Love that song. You gained a follower today (me) just for putting that music video up!
